We are early. Our first program has not run yet. Here is exactly where we stand — and what we will publish when we have it.
Where we are right now
We value transparency.
Women Equity International became a 501(c)(3) public charity in 2024 and funded its first pilot in 2026. That pilot has not started, so there are no outcomes to report yet. What we can show you is the structure behind the work: who we are accountable to, who we work through, and what we have committed to publish.

Women Equity International, Inc. — a 501(c)(3) public charity since April 2024, incorporated in Maryland. EIN 99-3158422. Current on IRS filings.
On the ground
We work through Women Equity Nepal, a registered Nepali organization with its own board, in partnership with Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality in Dhading.
First pilot
A depression-screening study in Dhading, funded by a seed grant from a U.S. academic institution. Ethics approval will be sought from Nepal’s health research council before any fieldwork begins.
What we will publish
Findings from the pilot, including what does not work. We will not post an impact number we cannot source.
Our commitment
When the pilot runs, this page changes.
It will carry what we set out to measure, what we found, how many women took part, what the work cost, and where it fell short. We will publish the record rather than a summary of highlights.
Until then, the most useful thing we can tell you is where we actually stand: a small, registered organization with an experienced board, one funded study, and no results yet.
