Community-Based Remittance Investment Program
Empower Her Future is transforming remittance income into sustainable livelihoods for women in rural Nepal. Through a 3-way investment model—combining women’s savings, local government support, and additional funding—this initiative helps women start small businesses that strengthen families and communities. Your support will fund financial literacy training, mentorship, seed investments, and operations to ensure long-term success. Together, we can empower women to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
Empowering Migrants’ Mental Health in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality, Dhading
Migration in Dhading District, Nepal, driven by poverty and limited job opportunities has significant mental health implications for both migrants and their families. Families left behind, especially women, children, and the elderly, experience emotional distress, increased responsibilities, and social isolation. Traditional family structures are shifting, impacting gender roles and community dynamics. To address the challenges faced by migrants and their families, Women Equity (WE) Nepal is partnering with Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality to provide crucial support.
